CURRENT STOCK COLLABORATIONS:</U>

Like the murder-mystery Clue (or Cluedo for non-Americans)? You're not alone! How about a character collaboration like the one below:

Wookiestock: Mr. Green 4 by wookiestock CLUE: Miss Scarlett 5 by LongStock The Inspector. for Posterity 3 by lindowyn-stock :thumb49049022:

And more collaborations like this can be found at CollaborationStation. Why don't you join in?

FOCUS ON THE FORUMS!:</U>

For those of you that don't know - the StockArt forums are located here: forum.deviantart.com/galleries…

A place for stockers to promote their contests, to ask stockers to fill specific stock requests, ask for help finding stock, discuss stockart in general and much more! We're all a happy bunch so don't be afraid to drop by and say hi! Just don't forget to stay on topic - and our topic is STOCK!!

Stocker Listing: Want to promote your stock account? Or are you just looking for more stockers to use in your artwork? This thread is dedicated to listing stockers with helpful additions like what each account has in their gallery and whether or not they allow prints to be made of artwork using their stock.

Exclusive Stock/Resource Listing: A list of stockers/resources that offer their deviations in exchange for donations, as contest prizes and as giveaways is being created! If you are a stocker or resourcer that offers exclusive resources drop by this thread and put your name down!

GOING CLUBBING:</U>

No, not seal-clubbing as so many people have suggested :fear: You people SCARE me! We're talking about Stock Clubs! Where stockers can go to submit their work to gain a bit of publicity and to interact with other stockers in contests and themes!

:iconcollaborationstation: - Want to join in and be part of a theme? Show your creative edge on a basic idea or a few words to get you going.

Current collaborations: Seven Deadly Sins, and Housework. (Housework could be the 8th deadly sin... ;))

:iconcreative-sheet-stock: - A new club opened by faestock and LadyEdanaStock! Most stockers have used a sheet as part of their costume at some stage! Show us your sheety creativity and join this club :D

STOCKER CONTESTS:</U>

Its not just about the prizes! Stockers get to see all the lovely artwork made with their stock and a set theme in mind. If you have a stock contest you want promoted, drop me a note with the details

FEATURES AND TIPS:</U>
In this issue I will feature the different Characters stockers act out.

We've got clowns and gods, victims and villains, angels and homocidal killers... so what more could you ask for when you want to tell a story with your art than to have the stockers to play the roles of your characters for you?
You don't need to have a costume wardrobe worthy of a high paid celebrity to give the impression of being a character. Dig a little deeper in your closet and take a harder look at that daggy sweater you grandmother knitted you, or the jeans with more tears and scuffs on them than would be publicly accepted. The combination of a girly top and your ass-kickin' boots might not cut it out in the real world - but in Stock-Land any combinations are acceptable! You'd be surprised what gems you can find down at your local Op-shop or in garage sales. It may be retro and out-of-date to all the big name magazines but it may be just what someone is looking for in their next deviation!

So where on Earth do we get our inspiration? Books, movies, funny stories we hear, history... and even real-life. Even creating your own characters is simple enough just by throwing together a time period and personality. From just those two little bits of information you can create a make-shift costume and some interesting poses for your new identity.
